A quieter way of paying attention.

Hayley photographs maternity, newborn and family chapters with warm restraint, gentle direction and close attention to the details that make each family distinct.

The approach

Broken Hill · New South Wales

Let the photograph feel composed. Let the moment feel real.

Hayley's work sits between portraiture and observation. She provides enough direction for everyone to feel at ease, then watches for the glance, gesture or small shift that carries the real weight of the photograph.

The visual language is simple by design: clean lines, honest connection, warm colour and black-and-white frames where shape and feeling matter more than distraction.

Sessions are created for the pace of family life. A newborn can be fed. A child can move. A parent can take a breath. Nothing meaningful is lost by allowing time.

From a private digital gallery to a framed print or hand-and-feet sculpture, the final piece is chosen to keep the story close in a form that suits your home.

The mark

A brand that began on paper.

Before the website, Hayley's invoices had already established a visual language: warm grey paper, charcoal type, generous space and a fine serif HB monogram divided by a diagonal line.

The website carries that identity forward. The letterforms have been redrawn as a sharper digital mark, while the restrained palette now gains an iron-rich accent drawn from the Far West landscape.

The result is intentionally quiet. The identity frames the photographs without competing with them.

What guides the work
