Before, during and after

Calm enough to let the real moments arrive.

A clear process, gentle direction and room for real life. You never need to know how to pose or make everything perfect.

The guiding idea

The best portraits feel composed and alive at once. Hayley looks after the light, framing and small adjustments so you can remain present with the people who brought you there.

01 · Unhurried

Room to breathe

Newborns feed. Toddlers wander. People need a minute. The session pace makes room for all of it.

02 · Lightly guided

Direction, not posing

You will always know where to stand and what to do, without losing the gestures and expressions that are genuinely yours.

03 · Carefully finished

Edited to endure

Colour, tone and detail are refined with restraint, creating photographs that feel warm now and considered years from now.

How it works

Four thoughtful steps.

01

Your enquiry

Share the session you are considering, who will be photographed and the timing that matters. Hayley replies by email with availability and the current collection guide.

02

The plan

Together you will settle on a suitable setting, timing and simple wardrobe direction. The plan provides confidence without scripting the session.

03

The session

Hayley begins with easy direction and lets the rhythm become natural. Newborn sessions pause whenever your baby needs; family sessions make space for movement.

04

Your photographs

Your selected images are professionally edited and delivered through a private digital gallery. Framed artwork, USB keepsakes and baby hand-and-feet sculpture sets can be added.

For the smallest clients

Your baby sets the pace.

A newborn session is not a test of how deeply your baby sleeps. Awake stretches, feeds, cuddles and unsettled minutes are all part of the story. Safety and comfort lead every decision.

The most meaningful frame is often found in the pause that no one planned.
